My public school teaching experience was after we moved from Dearborn to Southfield. I was a substitute teacher for second grade. I was on playground duty before class so I could not prepare. Once in the classroom, one of the girls was sick and I had to rush her down to the office. When I got back to the classroom it was a shambles. Finally, the principal came in and gave a hand.
